Michael A. Mele joined Marcus & Millichap in 1999 as an agent, rising to associate in May 2000, senior associate in May 2002, senior investment associate in July 2005, vice president investments in January 2008 and senior managing director investments in 2014. His product specialty is self storage. He has closed over 300 self-storage transactions totaling over $1.57 billion in sales volume and has achieved senior director status in the National Self-Storage Group. For consecutive years, Mr. Mele has been the recipient of Marcus & Millichap’s National Achievements Award, Chairman’s Club Award and, the most coveted accolade, the Chairman’s Circle of Excellence Award.
Mr. Mele is a graduate of West Chester University, where he earned a B.S. degree. He is a member of the National Self-Storage Association and the National Association of Realtors. He is currently on the legislative committee for the Florida Self Storage Association as well as the prior president. With almost two decades of experience as a self-storage advisor, Mr. Mele provides significant insight for his clients, ranging from single, private investors to large-scale REITs. His experience and vast contributions to the industry have made him a key advisor in the self-storage market. He has been recognized and interviewed over 50 times by multiple publications including Inside Self-Storage, Mini Storage Messenger and The Wall Street Journal for his critical leadership, expertise and knowledge of the self-storage industry.
Luke Elliott is with the Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap and specializes in self storage. He is a Director of the National Self Storage Group, Member of the Self-Storage Association and President of the Florida Self Storage Association. Luke has partnered with owners for over 15 years, providing advisory and transactional expertise. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Luke was a Senior Associate with Prudential Commercial Real Estate Florida, in the firm's Industrial Services Group. Luke has been a consistent recipient of the Pinnacle Award in recognition of his transaction volume. At Marcus & Millichap he received a Sales Recognition Award in 2014 and earned the prestigious National Achievement Award in 2015 and 2016. Sean Delaney joined Marcus & Millichap, the nation's largest real estate investment services firm, in late 2003 specializing in self-storage assets with a focus on the Midwest. In September 2005, he became an Associate of the Firm and in March 2007 reached Senior Associate status. In July 2012, he was promoted to Associate Vice President Investments then in July 2013, by vote of the managing directors, given the distinction of Vice President Investments. He serves as the Senior Director of the National Self-Storage Group (NSSG). For 2015, he ranked as the top broker in the Chicago Oak Brook office and fourth throughout the firm's three Chicago offices. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Delaney played seven years of professional baseball for the Kansas City Royals and the Saint Paul Saints.
Mr. Delaney has successfully facilitated the purchase or sale of in excess of $300 million in self-storage properties. Sean has been the recipient of the coveted Marcus & Millichap Sales Achievement plaque seven times over the course of his career and received three, consecutive National Achievement Awards for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Robert Bloch joined Marcus & Millichap in 2012 as an Associate to the firm’s Washington D.C. office. He has over 28 years of sales, management, and business development experience, including 10 years as an Executive Investment Broker and 11 years as a Regional Manager and Director of Sales. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Grinnell College located in Iowa. In addition, Mr. Bloch is also a member of the Marcus & Millichap National Self-Storage Group and aims to provide investors with exceptional expertise on self-storage properties all over the East Coast.
Trey Hammond is a senior associate at Marcus & Millichap and a select member of the National Self-Storage Group with a specific focus on Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. Mr. Hammond joined the Oklahoma office of Marcus & Millichap in 2011 as a self-storage specialist, bringing with him over five years of business development and brokerage experience. Mr. Hammond is a graduate of Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, Oklahoma with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering where he also earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) graduate degree.

Mickey is a highly-motivated, client services driven broker who began his transition into commercial real estate in early 2008 and later joined Marcus & Millichap in July of the same year. Shortly thereafter Mickey was promoted to associate and became a member of the National Self-Storage Group. Mickey now specializes in providing service to principal owners of Self Storage with a focus on the operation, valuation, disposition and/or acquisition of self-storage facilities throughout the state of Indiana and the Midwest.
Mickey developed his leadership skills and ability to adapt to changing environments through eight years of service to his country in the US Armed Forces. Additionally, he honed his eye for detail by spending eight years as a quality assurance professional for the student lending giant SallieMae. His role as liaison between the internal technical staff and the staffs of their national trading partners resulted in his keen personal skills as well as technical savvy. These attributes serve him well in taking advantage of the resources provided by Marcus & Millichap and implementing them on behalf of his commercial real estate investment clients.
As a principal owner of investment real estate for over twelve years, Mickey brings the unique perspective of understanding ownership challenges and drivers thereby adding value to owners through investment brokerage services with Marcus & Millichap. He has combined this experience with the training and support of Marcus & Millichap's dynamic marketing & technology platform to facilitate value added brokerage services to owners of institutional and private-investor self storage facilities.
As a self-storage investment associate for The Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap, Brian Fulton brings over 13 years of financial experience to the team, specializing in the areas of valuation, cash flow modeling, research and analytics. For three years, Mr. Fulton served as team’s senior financial analyst, valuating over $3 billion in self-storage assets. A Tampa native, Mr. Fulton graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Finance. Throughout Mr. Fulton’s career, he has functioned as a financial consultant advising construction companies; serving as a portfolio manager for a Florida-based registered investment advisory firm and as a consultant designing executive deferred compensation plans for numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Fulton has successfully completed the level I exam for the coveted Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is currently studying for the level II exam. He is also a member of the Self Storage Association’s Young Leaders Group.
Daniel Kuchugurny is a self-storage advisor with the Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap, focusing on Northern California. Prior to joining The Mele Group, Daniel helped both experienced and first-time clients realize their financial aspirations and find paths to reach their goals as a mortgage loan originator.
As a young refugee from eastern Ukraine after the fall of the Soviet Union, Daniel knows what it is like to work hard to achieve the American dream. And now as a commercial real estate advisor with The Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap, he continues his passion in helping others obtain that same dream.
Outside of assisting his clients, Daniel is a consistent volunteer at the University of California Davis Medical Center, he enjoys helping others and making a difference in the lives of the center’s medical staff, patients and visitors. Additionally, he shares this same passion in supporting the Los Angeles Dream Center, an organization committed to transforming lives of others by offering hunger relief, job skills training, rehabilitation and transitional housing for the homeless and victims of human sex trafficking.
Daniel is a member of the California Self Storage Association (CSSA), the Young Leaders Group (YLG) and the Self Storage Association (SSA). Daniel studied business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship at California State University Sacramento.
Noah E. Obuchowski is an investment associate with The Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap. He is based out of the Washington D.C. office with a focus on the self-storage market throughout the Northeast United States. Mr. Obuchowski joined the team directly after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Florida with degrees in real estate and business. In addition to his studies, he was a two-year captain for the UF Men’s Lacrosse team. Mr. Obuchowski continues his passion for lacrosse by competing in international tournaments and the world games as a defenseman for the Israel National Lacrosse Team.
Prior to arriving in Washington D.C. in February 2017 to expand the reach of the Mele Group, Mr. Obuchowski worked in the firm’s Manhattan office. While in Manhattan, he was a team member of the New York Multifamily group, which is New York City’s leading multi-family investment sales team. Before working in the Manhattan office, Mr. Obuchowski started his tenure with Marcus & Millichap in 2015 in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. He worked with The Hunter Kristol Group which was Marcus & Millichap’s highest-producing multifamily team in South Florida. Noah E. Obuchowski is an investment associate with The Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap. He is based out of the Washington, D.C. office with a focus on the self-storage market throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Noah joined the team directly after graduating from the University of Florida where he studied real estate and business. In addition to his studies at the University of Florida, Noah was a two-year captain for the UF Men’s Lacrosse Team.
Nick Creech is an investment associate at Marcus & Millichap, the largest real estate firm in the country. He joined the firm in late 2015 and specializes in advisory services for office and industrial assets across the state, assisting his clients in meeting their specific goals. Nick serves as a member of the National Office & Industrial Group. Prior to joining the Industrial Investments team, Nick represented The Mele Group in business development, where he partook in the facilitation of investment analyses and marketing processes for self-storage assets, in addition to providing market research. A Florida native, he attended the University of South Florida with a concentration in International Business Relations.
Ms. Paronto brings more than 14 years of experience and expertise into the management of thriving businesses and start-ups, within the financial and real estate investment industries. She has a solid background in real estate, finance and economics and a keen sense of the industry markets and trends. She manages the full range of operational duties in a wide variety of areas including real estate escrow management, marketing and budgeting. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the Mele Storage Group and manages the $350 million dollar plus pipeline of current and under contract listings. Prior to joining the team Tara was on the ground floor of the start-up of another collaborative real estate firm and assisted them in growing from three employees to over three offices and nearly 50 staff members Nationwide.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, surfing with her son Luke, boating and golfing.
Kevin J. Menendez coordinates the group's internal and external operations and oversees the Strategic Advisory (SA) Program for The Mele Storage Group of Marcus & Millichap. Kevin joined the Mele Storage Group in July 2012 as the team’s financial analyst. During his time in this role he underwrote over $1.2 billion worth of self storage assets throughout the United States. In this role he assisted in the valuation and disposition of over 40 transactions consisting of 67 properties for a total of $358 million. With Kevin’s experience in his role with the Mele Storage Group, he is able to successfully advise his clients on ever changing dynamics of the self storage market and brings over five years of experience in the real estate sector.
Mr. Menendez is certified in ARGUS Valuation-DCF and ARGUS Developer.
Kevin graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2010 where he double majored in Finance and Real Estate. He was an active member in the Real Estate Academic Leaders school club as well as local chapters of NAIOP and ULI.
Rachel oversees all marketing activity throughout The Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap, ensuring a consistent brand for marketing efforts and the team as a whole. She also ensures that every project, whether deal-specific or a special feature, both meets and exceeds the expectations of clients and teammates. Since joining The Mele Group, she has personally directed and constructed the marketing materials for over $730 million in self-storage assets.
With a degree in journalism from the University of Florida and a solid background in design, Ms. Roy is equipped with a vast skillset ranging from copy editing, to web development and graphic arts. She has over 15 years of experience utilizing Adobe InDesign and is adept in all graphic-focused Adobe components. With a natural curiosity for mastering new applications, a perfectionistic eye for pixels and a love for graphic design, web development and writing, Rachel fully utilizes these skills with any task to bring the most comphreneisve materials to market while keeping ahead of the industry in developing and introducing newly-implemented systems for utilization by the team and clients.
Alec Lewis is The Mele Group of Marcus & Millichap’s senior financial analyst. A graduate of University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, he received a BBA in Finance and a minor in Spanish. While at Iowa, he was highly involved in the Financial Management Association, Applied Equity Valuation and Career Leadership Academy. Upon graduation, he worked between three fixed-income investment teams as a financial analyst at AEGON Asset Management in Cedar Rapids, providing financial and technical system support for front office portfolio managers and traders. Mr. Lewis also utilized his expertise as a real estate analyst for AEGON USA Realty Advisors, where he analyzed and negotiated the approval for 27 LIHTC property sales, representing over $25 million in investor equity. While in this role, he provided financial analyses and reporting for over 150 LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) residential and commercial real estate partnerships, representing over $1 billion in investor equity throughout all territories of the U.S.
Mr. Lewis’ broad range of financial experience after working within several teams for large financial service firms has allowed him to evaluate investment decisions from a multitude of perspectives and identify solutions that mutually benefit all parties involved. As the team’s senior analyst, his goal is to provide clear and precise valuations to self-storage owners and investors, tailoring his underwriting analyses to the specific needs of the client.
Kimberly was first introduced to a title insurance industry in 2003 when she joined a newly-formed title company in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Brothers built her career by gaining knowledge and experience, learning every aspect of the title industry by working for well-established private companies, builders, lenders and mortgage brokers.
Chloe Strada is an accounting major at the University of Tampa. She works directly under the team assisting in both transactional and day-to-day operations. Currently, Ms. Strada is studying for her commercial sales associate license and aspires to obtain a CPA license in the near future.
